The shoe has an air-permeable shank provided with an air-permeable layer (14) and made of walls (6). A super absorbing pourable material (3) from cells (4) is formed between the walls. The air-permeable layer is full-laminar arranged under a surface layer of the shank. The air-permeable layer is arranged between a lining and the surface layer of the shank. The cells form a waterproof layer (5) in which the pourable material is totally taken up such that the waterproof layer is provided with the pourable material. A textile flat material is designed as fleece and fleece fabric. The textile flat material is formed from mineral fibers, animal fibers, vegetable fibers or chemical fibers.
