The shoe has an air-permeable sole comprising a reinforced textile flat structure (14) that is made from fibers e.g. mineral fibers or chemical fibers. A material (3) swellable by absorbing liquid is arranged in cells (4) formed between the fibers, where the flat structure is arranged between a running surface and an insole. Walls (6) of the cells are partially made from a binding medium e.g. polymer compound, where the flat structure has water-density zones. The flat structure has a carrier layer (1) and a covering layer (2) that are connected with one another by a layer (5).
