The furniture (10) has heatable cushion elements (11, 12) positionable on a seating or reclining surface and including a waterproof upholstery. An electrical heating device i.e. carbon-heating mat, is provided in interior of the cushion elements and operable in low-voltage power. Current produced by solar cell elements is fed to the heating device. A manual on/off switch is provided for the heating device. The heating device and/or an illuminating device (19) is actuated by a remote control. A LED is arranged in a region of a stainless steel sub structure.
