The device (1) has a container (2) e.g. pot, and a frying pan (6) held in an accommodation area of the container. A ceramic element (10) is arranged in the accommodation area of the container. The ceramic element is made from functional ceramic which includes a substance from biocide-working substances, fungicide-working substances, activated charcoal and carbon. The ceramic element is designed as ring, pipe, tube, cylinder, cube, rectangle, lattice, ball, granulate and powder. An independent claim is also included for a method for frying and baking of cooking product.
