The method involves producing dental prostheses (10a-10d) from a common flat blank with an upper side and a lower side. Contact surfaces (16a-16d) of the dental prostheses are provided for contact with a tooth stump of a patient. The contact surfaces are defined by insertion devices (20b-20d) of the dental prostheses in reference directions. The dental prostheses are inserted into the tooth stump in the reference directions. The dental prostheses are aligned such that the reference directions point the dental prostheses in direction of the upper side and the lower side of the blank. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for operating an arrangement device (2) a computer program product comprising a program code for an arrangement device (3) a computer readable information medium comprising a program code for manufacturing dental prostheses (4) a combination of dental prostheses.
