The method involves adjusting the target label image in form of a vector graphic for provision. The target label image is minimized with a unit of image processing technique and with predetermined evaluation method of dimension and thickness techniques in a consistence with the adjusted label image. An independent claim is also included for a measuring device for the execution of the method.
