The device for supplying biomass into a biomass container (10) of a biogas plant, comprises a storage container (12), a screw conveyor (14, 18, 22) passing between the storage container and the biomass container, where the biomass is conveyed from the storage container into the biomass container by using the screw conveyor without using a conveyor pump, and a feeding device connected with a liquid reservoir on one side and with the screw conveyor on the other side, where the liquid from the liquid reservoir is supplied to a screw thread of the screw conveyor by using the feeding device. The device for supplying biomass into a biomass container (10) of a biogas plant, comprises a storage container (12), a screw conveyor (14, 18, 22) passing between the storage container and the biomass container, where the biomass is conveyed from the storage container into the biomass container by using the screw conveyor without using a conveyor pump, and a feeding device connected with a liquid reservoir on one side and with the screw conveyor on the other side, where the liquid from the liquid reservoir is supplied to a screw thread of the screw conveyor by using the feeding device. The feeding device forms an outward liquid-tight connection between the liquid reservoir and the screw conveyor. The screw conveyor forms a liquid-tight connection between the storage container and the biomass container. The device has a first screw conveyor, which conveys the biomass from the interior of the storage container and ends in a second screw conveyor with its second end, where a first end of the second screw conveyor is liquid-tightly connected with the second end of the first screw conveyor and a second end of the second screw conveyor ends above an intended biomass mirror of the biomass container. The device has a third screw conveyor, whose first end is liquid-tightly connected with the second end of the second screw conveyor and whose second end is liquid-tightly connected with the interior of the biomass container below the intended biomass mirror. One of the screw conveyors forms a liquid-tight connection between the storage container and the biomass container by partially reducing its conveyability. A connection is provided between the screw conveyor and the storage container and/or between the screw conveyors, so that a liquid-tight cork forms itself at the connection during conveying the biomass. A redirection of a conveying path is provided in the area of the connection. The liquid reservoir is the biomass container. The feeding device has solid separator. A pressure-, liquid-, power-receiving- or methane sensor is arranged to the storage container and/or the screw conveyor.
