The hollow body (10) comprises a flange section (20) and a tube section (50) which opens out in an aperture of the flange section. The tube section comprises a joining connection which is oriented parallel to a central axis of the hollow body with another joining connection for connecting the tube section and the flange section. The former joining connection is formed by complementary latching elements that are arranged on an area of the tube section adjacent to a joining seam. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a hollow body.
