Liquid feed i.e. milk, delivering method for e.g. calf, involves germ reduction treating feed by UV light such that feed is heated in temperature of specific degree Celsius, and feeding feed after completing treatment
The method involves arranging storage vessels at an animal over a removing point (1). A feed i.e. milk, is germ reduction treated by UV light, high-energy electrical impulses, chemical substances and/or micro filter such that the feed is heated in feeding temperature of approximately 35-45 degree Celsius, before arrangement of a removing point. Temperature range for thermal germ reduction of a pasteurizing process is 60-90 Celsius. The feed is fed directly or shortly after completing the germ reduction treatment. An independent claim is also included for an automatic feeder for delivering a liquid feed i.e. milk, to an animal.
