The turbine (30) has flow channels (38, 39) by which gas is guided to a wheel inlet (40) of a turbine wheel (34) by a main nozzle (36) of the channels. A passage (44) is provided on a side of the main nozzle, where the side is turned towards a wheel outlet (42) of the wheel. A ratio of a width (bD2), which is a dimension of the passage at a turbine housing (32), at the wheel inlet, which results from a sum of an axial extension width (ba) of the passage and a width (bD1) of the nozzle at the wheel inlet, to the width of the main nozzle on the wheel inlet is expressed in a specific equation.
