The method involves obtaining microphone signals with microphones (m1, m2), respectively, and converting the microphone signals into a directional signal (ds). Transmission functions (alpha, beta) of solid-borne sounds (ve) or solid-borne sound signals are supplied from an earpiece to the microphones, respectively. Artifacts due to the sounds are reduced using the transmission functions or the sound signals, during obtaining the directional signal. A correction factor for the directional signal is determined from a correlation function obtained from the transmission functions or the signals. An independent claim is also included for a hearing-device including a converting device.
