The drive (N) has a hub (2) arranged rotatably on a fixed hub carrier (1) and a hydrostatic axial-piston motor (9), where the hub carrier is supported at a vehicle frame by a mounting bracket (3). A bearing unit (6) is formed by two roller bearings (6a, 6b) at a wheel-sided end of a bearing pin (5). A cylinder drum (15) of the axial-piston motor is supported on the hub carrier and operatively connected with the hub by a torque transfer device (25). The hub carrier is designed as a trunnion or a supporting tube, and the axial-piston motor is designed as an inline motor or a multi-stroke motor.
