The device has a holding element (HaE) made of stable materials and adjustable with respect to the cross section of the holding element. Two carrier elements (TE) at sides of the holding element are provided to lie opposite to each other and horizontally distant from each other. A lifting element vertically projects from one of the carrier elements. The holding element is formed from two half rings, where a pair of ends of the half rings form a joint (G). A round planter is inserted into an opening of the holding element in a form-fit and force-fit manner.
