The module (2) has a back surface in vertical alignment to a seat surface (3), where the module is designed for arrangement at or in a vehicle seat (1) with an airbag (8). The airbag is formed to expand along expansion direction during activation of the module, where the expansion directions in vertical and perpendicular alignment are similar. The expansion direction is adjusted in angle range smaller than plus/minus 15 degree in vertical and perpendicular directions. The module is mechanically fastened to a seat frame (7) of the vehicle seat.
