Polypeptide (I) comprising a variable domain of a heavy chain comprising a variable domain of heavy chain of human antibody (VH) and/or variable domain of heavy chain of camelids antibody (VHH), a constant domain of a light chain, and optionally a linker, which is positioned between the variable domain of heavy chain and constant domain of light chain, is new, where (I) comprises VH and the constant domain of light chain is excluded. Independent claims are included for: (1) a dimer of (I) comprising: two monomers, where each monomer comprises the components of (I); or (I) or the monomer, and a monomer comprising a constant domain of light chain and a marker molecule; (2) an antibody construct comprising two constant domains of light chain, where the two constant domains of light chain and variable domains of heavy chain are operatively connected by a disulfide bridge, and two variable domains of heavy chain, which are connected via a linker; (3) a polynucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence that encodes (I) and/or antibody construct; (4) a nucleotide construct comprising the polynucleotide, which is operatively connected to a promoter that regulates the expression in a host cell; (5) a vector comprising the polynucleotide and/or the nucleotide construct; (6) a host cell comprising the polynucleotide, the nucleotide construct, the vector, (I) and/or the antibody construct; (7) a transgenic plant or its parts and/or a microorganism comprising the polynucleotide, the nucleotide construct, the vector, (I) and/or the antibody construct; and (8) a composition comprising the polynucleotide, the nucleotide construct, (I) and/or the antibody construct and a suitable carrier, buffer, stabilizer and/or binder.
