The engine has pistons (16) coupled with elliptically formed gear wheels (25, 26) and cylindrical gear wheels (22, 23) controlling ratio of an angular speed of a cylinder block (2) to angular speed of the pistons. One of the elliptical wheels is coupled with a camshaft in a torque proof manner, and a rocker (20) is supported at the camshaft. Another elliptical wheel is coupled with one of the cylindrical wheels, and another cylindrical wheel is supported at another camshaft in a torque proof manner, where the block is arranged at the latter camshaft in a torque proof manner.
