The arrangement (10) has a closed water vapor circuit (22) with a radiator (48) for cooling working fluid, and a feed pump (50) for conveying the working fluid to a heat exchanger (28) subjectable with thermal energy. A steam turbine (26) is arranged downstream to the heat exchanger for removing the working fluid. A burner (12) is provided for conversion of chemical energy of fuel e.g. hydrogen gas, into the thermal energy. A varioturbine gas turbine (16) of a turbocharger (18) is provided downstream to the burner for subjecting the burner with compressed supply air. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a fluid energy machine arrangement for a vehicle.
