Method for monitoring surrounding area of vehicle utilized for transport of e.g. goods, involves generating entire image, where course of boundary lines is given such that lines run away from objects depending on positions of objects
The method involves detecting a surrounding area (U) of a vehicle (F) and objects (O1, O2) e.g. person, present in the area by image detecting units (1, 2). An entire image (G) is generated from detected individual images, where the entire image shows the vehicle and the area of the vehicle in a bird's eye view. A course of boundary lines (L1-L3) is given in such a manner that the lines run away from the objects depending on determined positions of the objects in the entire image between individual images regions (EB1, EB2), where the lines extend from an origin to an edge of the entire image.
