The aid has a grip (1) e.g. knob, fixed at a motor vehicle structure part by a fixing device (4). A set of actuating devices (5, 6) e.g. electronic drive, is operatively coupled with a switching device (12) that is arranged in a door frame of a motor vehicle door. The grip, which is operationally coupled with the actuating devices using a wire rope (2), is transferred from a non-usage position into a usage position by actuation of the switching device, where the wire rope exhibits a metal wire. An illumination unit i.e. LED, is arranged in the grip.
