The device has a mounting plate (1) for attachment to a door frame, and a rack (2) arranged at the mounting plate for supporting a door hinge (4). The rack is formed as a separate component with a sliding seat and held in a guide recess of the mounting plate in a form fit manner. The rack is supported at a stop surface (6), which limits the guide recess, under action of a load transmitted from the door hinge to a spindle (3), and fixed in the guide recess. The rack has a supporting surface for resting on the mounting plate.
