The pot has a cylindrical outer pot and a cylindrical inner pot made of a material that is exposed to heat. The inner pot is axially rotatably in the outer pot and spaced apart around a predetermined distance. The inner pot is slightly bent downward so that the outer pot holds a slightly boiling liquid. The inner pot has elevations at its outer side in form of fins, wings, struts or vanes to stir contents of the pot. The elevations are spiral-shaped and/or wave-shaped, and the inner pot and the outer pot are connected with each other over an axis.
