The device i.e. coffee machine, has a housing (1) for holding functional components e.g. crushing mill, of the machine and for holding an electronic circuit (3) for controlling machine functions. The housing exhibits a housing chamber (2) partitioned in relation to the functional components e.g. power boards, of an electronic circuit, where components are arranged in the housing chamber. The housing chamber exhibits a base wall and side walls that are connected with each other as a single piece in a sealed manner. A chamber cover is fixed at the housing in a detachable manner.
