The slide valve has an internal cam shaft, which works as oiling control valve housings. The internal cam shaft has a hollow inner side and a connecting unit in fluid connection between an outer side of the cam shaft and the hollow inner side. An axially shifted, perforated, hollow slide gate valve is provided, which is movable within the internal cam shaft. A partitioning element is provided, which is spatially fixed in the internal cam shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for operation of a cam shaft phase plate of a concentric cam shaft arrangement.
