The present invention relates to a method for biological control the proliferation of the bacterium legionella pneumophila, with the exception of the methods of processing applied to the human body or to animals, characterized in that it uses protozoa amoebic of the genus willaertia, as well as any disinfectant agent containing these protozoa.
