The device has unlockable/lockable retaining units for retaining a luggage in a box, and control units for securely controlling unlocking/locking of the retaining units, which are acted on a handle of the luggage. The retaining units have a telescopic arm (2) articulated to one of its ends in an upper part of the box for the luggage. The arm has an unlockable/lockable hooking unit at a free end of the arm for hooking the arm on the handle of the luggage. The arm is articulated around a cardan joint (3) mounted on a bearing (4), which is fixed by the upper part of the box of the luggage.
