The method involves subjecting a polyethylene film to successive folding operation for forming lateral gussets (1a, 1b) between two walls constituting front and rear faces (1c, 1d). One of external folds (a, b) of one of the lateral gussets is subjected to soldering operation for constituting an edge (2), where the soldering operation is realized from a side of the rear face. The film is transversely cut with respect to desired height, and a bottom (1e) is finally formed. An independent claim is also included for a sack comprising lateral gussets.
