Nano-objects dispensing system for handling nano-objects, has optical unit exciting optical wave that entraps nano-object and displaces nano-object in surface of guide, and another optical unit moving immobilized nano-object in working zone
The system has a vat (K) filled with a liquid identical to liquid that fills a working zone (Z). An optical waveguide formed on a wall of the vat has end zones whose dimensions are adapted so that optical wave propagating from an end of the guide is not reflected. Optical unit (M1) excites the wave in the guide at the end. The wave entraps a nano-object in the vat and displaces the nano-object in a surface of the guide until an end zone above which the nano-object is immobilized. Optical unit (M2) moves the immobilized nano-object in the working zone, where units are formed of laser sources. An independent claim is also included for a method for dispensing nano-objects in a work zone.
