The device has a cylindrical extensible bush (2) provided with four jaws and housed in a blind hole so as to adhere a rotary piece in a bore and to position the rotary piece against a supporting surface by a conical tie rod (1). A mechanism is provided with two stacks of elastic washers (9, 11) to permit positive locking of the rotary piece. The cylindrical extensible bush is controlled by the tie rod at its center. An independent claim is also included for a rotary piece presence control device comprising a leak control orifice.
