The method involves applying a reduced exterior load on a digital model in a finite element, and determining a relationship between a rated load and a reduced load. Reduced clamping forces of corresponding screwed joints (3) are determined for providing non-sliding and non-detachment of the joints for an applied reduced load on the digital model. The minimum clamping forces to be applied on the joints are determined for the rated load depending on a determined yield product by the determined respective minimum reduced clamping forces. An independent claim is also included for a method for clamping screwed joints between two components.
