The architecture (1) has a seat comprising a fixed base (2) and a backrest (3) folding in rotation along a transversal axis (4) on the base, where the axis defines an upper part (5) and a lower part (6) of a cushion of the backrest. A pair of lateral clevises (7) permits fixation in rotation of the backrest integrally to a floor structure (6) of a motor vehicle, and respectively arranged on both sides of a width of the backrest. The clevises have a recess (9) arranged to allow passage of lateral edges (10) of the lower part while folding the backrest.
