The method involves providing a receiver (14) in a CPU (13) for measuring intensity of electromagnetic signals. Decision threshold corresponding to a value of intensity is determined for each data application e.g. monitoring of wheels, and each function e.g. door opening, of electronic cases (6-9, 16). Function of one of the signals is identified, intensity of the signal is measured and compared with the threshold corresponding to the identified function, and processing of the signal is controlled only when the intensity is greater than the threshold, during reception of the signal by the CPU.
