The system has an information processing unit i.e. logic controller, whose input is connected to an information acquiring unit that acquires information relative to a motor vehicle i.e. mini van. The information processing unit has an information analyzing unit that analyzes acquired information for detecting an opening request of a door of the vehicle, displacement of the door towards its opening position and an open door position, to trigger the functioning of corresponding warning units. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product comprising instructions for performing warning of an exit of a user through a door of a motor vehicle.
