The connector has a body (1) comprising a radial groove for passing a tube of a hydraulic circuit, and a longitudinal groove for passing a screw (2). The screw has a thread screwed into a hydraulic circuit part (5), and a radial bore (24) communicating with a longitudinal bore (23) in the part. A joint (3) is placed between a lower surface (201) of a head (20) of the screw and an upper surface (101) of the body. Another joint (4) is placed between a lower surface (102) of the body and an upper surface (501) of the part. The joints are made of copper or aluminum and integrated to the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a banjo type hydraulic connector for connecting a tube of a hydraulic circuit to a part of the circuit.
