The device has an inner firing channel (31) divided into chambers (33) defined by inner partitions (34). The partitions are centrally traversed by a hole (36), and are covered on one of their faces (341, 342) with plates (35) made of sound absorption materials i.e. mineral wool based material. The partitions covered with the sound absorption materials are arranged at a distant from each other and are partially moved inside the channel along a firing axis (32) such that the partitions are moved along the firing axis during firing of a missile (39).
