The system has a waste water containing vat (10) defining a waste water containing volume (36) for containing waste water. The vat comprises a waste water inlet (38) opened on the volume and a waste water outlet (40) opened on the volume. An internal heat exchanger (26) and external heat exchangers (28) recover calories in the vat, and use the calories in a heat pump. The vat is emptied by overflowing the waste water through the outlet. An independent claim is also included for a heating installation comprising a heating system.
