The device (1) has a head (3) and a cylindrical body (2) with an axial bore in which a pyrotechnic chain including a striker (4), a damper (5), a blasting cap (6) and a delay (7) is housed. The striker is free in the body such that the head is oriented on a side opposite to a side of an ammunition of a booster, and the striker is subjected to backward movement in the body to compress the damper, to strike the cap and to ignite the delay when the system is placed in the booster in a reverse operating direction.
