The present invention relates to a process for extracting aromatic molecules from cork, responsible for the "cork taste", by a thermo-hydro-mechanical treatment by controlled instantaneous expansion DIC optionally performed in a successive form (EDS). It also relates to cork products obtained by this process. The method of the invention makes it possible to obtain a cork freed of its undesirable aromatic molecules, in particular the chlorinated molecules such as 2,4,6-trichloroanisole (TCA) responsible for the "cork taste", while preserving its mechanical properties .
