The filter (106) has a dosing reservoir (102) for containing dosing liquid, and filtering material arranged in the dosing reservoir. A support structure supports the filtering material for forming a dosing liquid flowing path. A fixation mechanism e.g. hook, fixes the filter to the inlet opening and an outlet opening of the dosing reservoir. The support structure has ribs arranged on the filtering material. The support structure separates adjacent surfaces of the filtering material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for filtering dosing liquid in an exhaust treatment system comprising a filter (2) a method for filtering dosing liquid in an exhaust treatment system.
