The device has an elongated frame (2) pivotably oriented around an axis transversal to a loader such that the frame is lowered in a horizontal position or raised in a vertical position. A gripping tool (4) is integrated to a slide (3) that is moved on the frame. A feeler (5) is provided with a support pallet (55) that is projected in front of the frame. A rod (50) of the feeler is axially moved with respect to the frame. The rod has a set of cams to unlock the slide with respect to the frame when the feeler is subjected to thrust directed horizontally from the front towards the back.
