The cylinder has a master cylinder body (1) with an axial conical inner bore (15) provided along an axis (XX') of the cylinder, where the body is made of aluminum alloy. The body has a hollow shaft (3) in which primary and secondary pistons (60, 61) slide. The shaft is made of plastic material. The body is realized by rheocasting type molding with the bore. The bore has a conical inner surface (16), and the shaft has a conical outer peripheral surface with same conicity as of the conicity of the surface of the bore, so that the surface of the shaft is in contact with the surface of the bore. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a master brake cylinder.
