The compartment has a seat provided with a headrest (1) retractable by articulation systems constituted of arm parts (7, 8) and a median articulation (4). An end of the systems is connected to a side wall of the compartment, and another end is fixed at the headrest so as to permit retraction of the headrest against the wall. The systems include adjustment units varying fixation height of the former end with respect to the wall, where the adjustment units are associated to a locking assembly. A support (10) of the adjustment units slides inside a vertical rail (9) that is fixed to the wall.
