The joist (1) has a lattice (2) formed by an upper steel bar (4) that is connected to two lower steel bars (5) by a metallic reinforcement (6). A rigid metal sheath (3) receives a filling product (7) coating on the lower bars. A connection strip (8) jointly connects the lower bars to the sheath, where the strip has an upper support surface (9) on which the lower bars are fixed, and comprise fixation tabs fixed on the sheath. The strip is dimensioned so as to slide inside the sheath before fixation on walls of the sheath. The product is an insulating material i.e. expanded polystyrene, and a flocking material i.e. cellulose wadding.
