The method involves coating a surface of an elastomer receiver by using a thermo-transferable inked ribbon. A size of a surface of an intermediate transfer material is increased in a linear manner, and the data of the negative image is withdrawn from an ink layer of the transfer material. The size of the surface of transfer material is reduced in a linear manner. Entire pre-stored information is transferred from the surface of the transfer material on the final receiver support. The inked ribbon is composed of a film covered with a skin composed of wax or resin associated with pigments ordyes.
