The device has an actuator for transmitting movement of an electric motor towards a stable element i.e. exhaust gas recirculation valve. A mark (20) represents displacement kinematics of the element. A pointer interacts with the mark such that the element is displaced to position the pointer in mark zones (21, 22) corresponding to stable and unstable positions of the element, respectively. The element is subjected to a return unit i.e. return spring, that returns the element to an initial rest position, in the unstable position.
