The system (21) has a control assembly for moving a fixation element (27) i.e. fixation hook, between closing and opening positions. Another fixation element (31) i.e. pin, is fixed with respect to the former fixation element. The latter fixation element cooperates with the former fixation element in the closing position in which a door i.e. rear door (7), is fixed to a motor vehicle (1). The control assembly has a maintaining element i.e. maintaining ratchet, to maintain the former fixation element in the closing position, where the maintaining element is activated by a manual element.
