The device (D1) has a driving unit including a telescopic unit (GT) i.e. telescopic slide, and a sliding unit (MC) that are installed on a central zone (ZC) of a roof (PV) and an upper lateral zone (ZL1) of a structure (SV) of a motor vehicle, respectively, where the sliding unit is in the form of hollow rail. The telescopic and sliding units are coupled to an anti-dazzle screen (PS) for displacing the anti-dazzle screen between retracted and deployed positions along an upper part (PSP) of a panoramic windscreen (PP) of the motor vehicle.
