The hairbrush has a cylindrical handle (1) whose half part is visible and another half part is housed in a brush part (3). The handle is made of rubber sheathed rigid plastic so as to slow down its displacement in the brush part. Stops (4) are provided at ends of the handle to prevent the part of the handle housed in the brush part from bringing out completely. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a hairbrush.
