The device has a lock (1) provided with an opening unit (2), and an exterior control unit (5) for controlling the opening unit from exterior of a vehicle. An interior control unit (6) e.g. presence sensor, controls the opening unit from interior of the vehicle, and a regulating unit (7) connects the exterior and interior control units. The exterior control unit and the interior control unit are connected to an electromechanical actuator of the regulating unit by an electric connector (8). The regulating unit is connected to the lock by a mechanical connector (9).
