A device (1) for reducing interference in a received communication signal, comprising an adaptive filter (2) for eliminating coherent and stable interference signals from the received communication signal using a self-referenced signal, a module of detecting (3) the presence of a signal of interest in the received communication signal, and a demodulation module (7) for demodulating the received communication signal when a signal of interest is detected, characterized in that the device further comprises a noise classifier (5) for detecting different interference signals of the received communication signal and deciding on the classification of the detected interference signals, and a switching module (6) for selecting a signal of input of the demodulation module based on the decision of the noise classifier and on the detection value of the presence of a signal of interest.
