The method involves determining information representing a radio attenuation value between a data terminal and a data packets receiving central station. A slot of a data frame is selected among possible slots for emission of a data packet based on a law of probability considering the information representing the radio attenuation value. A beacon packet emitted by the central station is received, and a flow rate of the data frame is defined. A receiving power of the received beacon packet is determined.
